Dan the Ninja Man!

Dan competed in a Martial Arts Tournament in April. I was very proud of him, he has worked very hard at Go Ju. He has a great teacher, her father who taught her, sparred against Chuck Norris and beat him. Dan thought that was pretty awesome.

George Washington Carver National Monument

We took Dan, Maureen, and the kiddos to the George Washington Carver National Monument.

This is the base of the cabin where they believe he was born.

Dan & Will looking at a statue of George, he walked all over these woods and even had a "Secret" garden, because it would have been considered a waste of time.

We took the kids for a swim afterwards, they had a great time.

We were so glad that they came out to visit us.

Visitors for Spring Break

Dan, Maureen, Grandma, Will, & Kate came to see us over their spring break. We loved having them here to visit. We made a small trip to Natural Falls state park where part of the old movie "Where the Red Fern Grows" was filmed.

After our hike we went to the playground, the kids had fun climbing on the monkey bars.

The big boys even played a little.

Spring break trip to the zoo

We went to the Tulsa Zoo with Carrie & the boys, and our friends the Boyces' for spring break.

Daniel is bigger than a chimpanzee.

The eewww gross part of the adventure was watching the giraffe pee for 15 min.

Carrie & Mitch gave birth on March 3rd to a beautiful boy with lots of black hair.
